Brad Ellis is a retired art teacher. After 27 years as an art educator in Lawrenceburg, Indiana he is working full time as an artist. He received a Bachelor of Arts Education from Purdue University in 1986. He received his Master of Art Education from The Art Academy of Cincinnati in 1997.
Brad received a Lilly Teacher Creativity grant in 2010. This was used to construct a propane fired down-draft reduction kiln. The cone 10 stoneware items are shown in the Pottery gallery within this site.
Brad has a pottery studio next to his house in Southeastern Indiana and a painting studio in Cincinnati, Ohio.
